Lindsay Lohan calls Barack Obama our first ‘colored’ president

More proof that some celebs should just read scripts and not meddle in politics…

Hollywood actress and tabloid cover model Lindsay Lohan was caught on-camera winding back social progress when Access Hollywood reporter Maria Menounos asked the 22-year-old Barack Obama supporter what she felt on election night.

“It was really exciting. It’s…it was such a…It’s an amazing feeling. It’s our first, you know, colored president,” Lindsay told Menounos.

Well, never mind the feeling of inspiration, hope and change.

And, what was it was it about LiLo that made Obama’s staffers reject her attempt to join the campaign?

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, a source working for Obama’s campaign said: “[She] is not exactly the kind of high-profile star who would be a positive for us.”

Hey Lindsay, stay clean and out of trouble for four years and maybe they’ll give you a re-elect Obama bumper sticker.
